Dear Prince Harry,

I do not find you attractive. I'm not sure why everyone else keeps talking about you like it's so great that you're still single. "Don't worry, Harry's still single." Gag me. You are a ginger and not cute.

Dear Anthropologie, Nordstrom, and Piperlime,

Please stop having sales. My checking account and credit card still have not recovered from New York back in March. Plus I'm going to be a starving student again soon. And I have a shopping addiction that I need to find some kind of solution for.

Dear hair,

Please start growing. I wish you were long and flowy.

Dear body,

I'm sorry that one week I am so hard on you at the gym and wreck you on mountain bike rides, with tennis serves, and Lori's power pump class in an effort to be more active, and then next I decide to be lazy and stuff you with all kinds of food. I will try to be more consistant all around.

Also on that note,

Dear Gym,

I'm going to try and visit you more. I'm kind of being a bad friend that lies and says I'm going to come visit you and then ditches you for my cooler friends, tv and bed. But I miss you and it's summer, so we're going to hang out more.

Dear Miranda Lambert,

If you were going to steal my boyfriend, Blake Shelton, at least you could have worn a cuter wedding dress. Usually I like you, but right now we're fighting.

Dear Chedder-Jalapeno Cheetos,

Stop staring at me everytime I walk past you at the gas station. Yes, you are deliciously spicy and cheesy, but you also make my thighs jiggle and I do not have time for you right now. Plus you kind of look disgusting on paper.

Dear Weather in Utah,

I hate you. Period.

Dear Kelly Osbourne,

You are one lucky Biotch. I do not understand why you are on Fashion Police. You do not have cute style. Your hair is terrible. And you're not very funny. How you got that job and have kept it I will never know.

Dear I-15,

You're the worst part of my day. At some point in the day I get stuck somewhere on you and you make me late or it takes 4 times longer than it should for me to get somewhere. Really? I live in Utah, not Southern California. Can we please get this construction sped up a little bit? Thanks.

love & lace

I have been slightly preoccupied with weddings..it is probably the season, but it may be all coupled with all of the tv shows that have had weddings in them lately as well. Grey's and Private Practice both had weddings on them just this week alone. Not to mention Gossip Girl keeps talking about engagements etc. Plus I swear every other day one of my friends is getting engaged or married!

Anyway, I LOVE lace wedding dresses. Here are some of the ones I have been loving online. I actually have had one picked out for like three years. I found it in a magazine forever ago and I want to have it made if I ever get married. Haha. I don't want to post a picture because I sort of want it to be a little bit of a surprise, but I know that it's going to be lace! It's still fun to look at others though, so here are some that I love bits and pieces of.

I kind of like more subtle lace, but I love the body and the buttons.

I love traditional. It's so simple, but not totally plain because of the lace.

This looks almost old fashioned or vintage, but I love the lace detail and the arms. It kind of reminds me of my mom's wedding dress. I don't know why, but I seriously love it.

To be honest, I really didn't care about the "Royal Wedding" and I didn't watch it, but I loved these pictures of her. I thought her dress was really pretty.

Janell and Burk's Wedding

This weekend I went to the wedding of two of my friends, Janell and Burk. It was at Pierpont Place in Salt Lake City. It was so fun and really pretty. Here are a bunch of pictures so you can see for yourself!

Ridiculous Love

I went to my friend's bridal shower tonight and have a few weddings to go to over the next few weeks. It's wedding season after all. But it made me think. I'm so happy for my friends. They are so in love and happy to be getting married. None of this nervous business or flakiness, etc. The guy almost seems more excited than her even, which is just so refreshing to see. It just makes me smile. It's nice to see that. Makes me still have hope that it will happen for me and that I'll find someone that loves me more than anything :)

I'm looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love.

Ten Day "YOU" Challenge - Day 7

Day 7 - Seven Wants

I mostly just want to be happy, but these are some fun things to maybe have along the way.

1. Basically the entire J.Crew Spring collection

2. Swim with a dolphin, ride an elephant, and see a tiger in the wild

3. To be a nurse practitioner or anesthetist (which one, is going to depend on when I get done with nursing)

4. A closet full of Loubotins

5. To have a gorgeous home that I get to decorate however I want! I love interior decorating.

I'm obsessed with this room. I love the bedspread.

I love the staircase on this one.

6. To travel all over the place. (see my last post.)

7. To eventually get married to someone who loves me more than anything and have cute little babies.
