Ford Introduces New Fiesta Classic To The Indian Roads

Ford India recently launched the Classic Edition of their sedan model Ford Fiesta. The new Ford Fiesta Classic Edition is Rs.71,000 to Rs.1,00,000 cheaper than its previous version. Ford aims to gain a monopoly in the mid-size sedan segment with the new Fiesta Classic Edition.
The new Fiesta Classic which is specifically designed for the Indian roads features by improved mileage and most modern safety technologies.
The racy interiors of the car consisting of liquid metal centre console, metallic insets on trim, race track inspired seat fabric and 2 DIN mp3 player gives Fiesta Classic an elegant look and feel.

Ford Focus Electric(2012) The Passenger Electric Vehicle Focusing On Nature

Ford has announced that its "first" Passenger Electric Vehicle is going to hit the market by next year starting . The news has been confirmed by Ford in the last week's Consumer Electric Show in Las Vegas.

During the release Ford said the following lines :- "Much of Focus Electric's steering, handling, and braking feel is shared with the agile, sporty, fuel-powered Focus models upon which it's based, making Focus Electric a dynamic driver's car."

The focus of Ford through this project is in Nature and its resources and brighter future for the World. Ford says that Ford Focus Electric will be a perfect and real car by 2012 with a Top Speed of 84 mph.

The car is powered by Permanent Magnet Electric Motor making 123 hp and 181 pound-feet of torque. A 23 kWh LG Chem battery pack is set under the back seats that is actively liquid heated and cooled to increase the battery life and range.

Ford C-MAX (2012) Details And Stills

Famous American automobile manufacturer Ford plans to introduce their new MUV Ford C-MAX by the middle of January 2011. New Ford C-MAX, a compact 7-passenger vehicle based on the Focus is expected to make its North American debut at the '2011 North American International Auto Show, Detroit'.

Ford C-MAx has got a 1.6ltr Ecoboost engine,turbocharged direct injection four-cylinder gasoline unit. The particular gasoline unit provide the output of much larger conventional engines with better fuel economy. The vehicle is as long as Focus sedan 2012 with 5+2 seats.In C-MAX, the standard engine will be normally aspired 2.5ltr four cylinder engine. Both engines will come with a standard 6-speed auto transmission. The ford new C-MAX has got new options like hands free power lift gate activated by running leg under the bumper and active park assist which automatically steers the vehicle into a parallel parking space. Ford India launches a 2-Wheel Drive variant for Endeavour

Ford India, recently launched a 2-Wheel Drive variant of the 3.0-litre automatic model of Ford Endeavour. Available at a price of Rs. 17.89 lakh, the new Ford Endeavour 4x2 AT is around Rs. 1.15 lakh cheaper than the 4x4 variant. The SUV has a powerful engine which can deliver a maximum power of 153.8bhp and a healthy 38.77kgm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed automatic gearbox coupled with an overdrive switch on the shift lever for overtaking manoeuvres.
The new Endeavour 4x2 inherits its exterior styling from the 4x4 variant, but the interior design now includes 2-tone colour scheme, 6-CD changer music system, dual air-conditioner with vents for the second and third row seats, leather seats, a DVD player, illuminated scuff plates, a titanium-finished instruments panel, sporty pedals and stylish body cladding.



Other main features of Ford Endeavour 4x2 AT are dual-stage front airbags for driver and passenger, ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), Tilt Adjustable Steering and Power Windows.
