Fiat Launched New Fiat Linea T-Jet In India - View Specifications and Features @ AUTOZONE

Following the great success of Fiat Linea and Fiat Punto in India, Fiat India showed more unveiled a more powerful version of Linea at the Auto Expo 2010 and they recently launched new Fiat Linea T-Jet in India.

Fiat introduces two variants of Linea T-Jet:- T-Jet and T-Jet Plus. Both are powered by a 1.4 Litre T-Jet engine which generates a maximum power of 114Bhp with maximum torque of 207Nm.

Fiat Punto Sport India launch Price and Specifications

After the great success of Fiat Punto, Fiat now on its way to introduce its upgraded sports edition ,named Fiat Punto Sport.The all new Fiat Punto Sport is expected to hit Indian roads by 16th July and the expected price is about Rs. 7,00,000 (7 lakh).

The new Fiat Punto Sport comes powered with 1368cc, 16 Valve, DOHC Petrol engine which is capable of providing a maximum power of 90 Bhp @ 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 115 Nm @ 4500 rpm.The Fiat Punto Sport has a top speed of 182 kmph.

Fiat Punto Sport gives a fuel efficiancy(mileage) of 15.00 kmpl at highways and 12.00 kmpl during city rides.

FIAT TO LAUNCH ENTRY-LEVEL CAR IN 2012

Fiat India plans to enter the country's small car market by launching an India-specific car by 2012. The new small car will not bear any resemblance to Fiat Uno. The car will be an entry-level model whose price will be much below Fiat's premium hatchback, Fiat Punto. The new Fiat small car will be experiencing tough competition from Maruti Alto which falls in the same segment.
According to Rajeev Kapoor, MD, Fiat India, “It will be an all-new car, nothing to do with any of our other models and will be priced aggressively. It will compete with the Alto and will have a one-litre engine". “The Uno brand has become rather generic in nature. We are still figuring out a new brand name for the car,” he added.
With the introduction of new car, Fiat hopes to get its product across to a much larger number of consumers and to effectively increase its market share from the current 1.5%.
Let's wait to see if the new Fiat car can withstand the tough competition from other small segment cars already in the market.
